In these
pictures, Molly had just finished celebrating her first birthday.
She is a strong girl, but not quite as large as some of Nina's other
pups. She was by far our smallest pup ever and required bottle
feeding for her first few weeks. I am surprised at how much she has
grown. I am guessing, but I suspect she is about 65 lbs. |

Below are
some of Molly's puppy pictures....

This tiny
little girl weighs about 1/2 of what her other siblings will weigh.
When she was born, she came out in shared sac with another tiny pup.
I suspect she was a twin. We bottle fed her until she was strong
enough to latch onto momma, and by the time she was 3 days old, she
was fighting her way in among her big siblings and getting good long
drinks from momma's teats. We also tend to believe that even though
she is so small now, she will still end up growing fairly big and not be a tiny adult Lab. I am not sure of this due to
never having such an extremely small pup before. She is a doll and noticed by
everyone! |

It is December 12 and she is
still tiny. I have talked with vets and other breeders who say that I am
going to be surprised at how big she ends up. I am not sure
how big she will get, for this is our first twin. She is a snuggly dog who
must have really wanted to live. She is darling, being both playful and
quiet at this age.
