Raising Labradors that
can both excel in the field and home is our goal. To accomplish
this, we blend the American and English dogs. The American lines
give the stamina and endurance to our puppies and the English lines
give the bone density, mass and strength to our pups. Buddy and Nina
have had one other litter in the winter of 2009.
Buddy has had his hips and elbows x-rayed
and the results were excellent from OFA on his hips. OFA does not
rate elbows in the same way, they either pass or fail a dog and both
Buddy and Nina passed.
The EIC and CNM bloodwork was also
done on Buddy and he was clear of either blood disease. This is a
test not often done by Labrador breeders, but I feel it is very
important.
